More Floor Less Cutting

More Floor Less Cutting is my 6th album. This brings my total to 60 original songs that I have composed myself. To be honest I have written more. However most of them were with other musicians. So I can not claim them as entirely my own.
Unlike my first four albums which were theme based. This is more like The Cutting Room Floor. Compiled with songs that did not make it on the first five albums. Its title is a bit of tongue and cheek. Meaning that it’s the sequel to the previous album, The Cutting Room Floor. More Floor Less Cutting being the second half. The joke is that there are less songs that I have not put into an album. There are few stranglers. So I may have another album in the works, no promises.
There is a lot of diversity. Expressions ranging from taking destiny in your own hands. A very naughty song inspired from a one nite stand. comforting myself after a devastating experience. A song inspired after attending a pagan wedding, reflections about simplistic things. A really fun jam, a song from a monster's point of view, and me singing to myself. Also one that was inspired from a destination wedding I attended in the Dominican Republic. Ending with a song about the establishments we frequent to socialise and be entertained.
Six albums, wow, I know it's not a huge number, Still I am proud of every original that I have created. It has been a long road with very interesting experiences. I love writing, composing, and expressing myself through a variety of mediums.
I think this is healthy and something that I recommend. Even if you are the only one who enjoys it. It's yours, be prouds of them. Nurture them, enjoy them, pull them out and value them. They are priceless and are your own treasures.
