topic: YOUR SORROW SHALL TURN TO JOY

We take our scriptures from the book of 1 Samuel 1:9-20, So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the Lord. And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the Lord, and wept sore. And she vowed a vow, and said, O Lord of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the Lord all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head. And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the Lord, that Eli marked her mouth. Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken. And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee. And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the Lord. Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto. Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him. And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad. And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the Lord, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the Lord remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the Lord. hallelujah!

Psalm 30:11, Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; hallelujah!

Genesis 21:1-8, And the Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac. And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him. And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him. And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me. And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age. And the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned. hallelujah!

Scriptural summary: Beloved, it is your time to celebrate. It is your time to be joyful for your sorrow shall be ended. The Scripture says in John 10:10, that "the thief comes in order to steal, kill and destroy. I have come in order that you might have life, life in all its fullness". The Lord will change your sadness into joyful dance and great laughter in the order of Sarah. You shall not cry again. Your pain, weeping, mourning and sorrow shall be changed to happiness, joy and testimonies before the end of this program. In the scripture, Sarah was sorrowful because she had no child, but later the Lord remembered her in her old age and she gave birth to Isaac and her sorrow turned to joy and laughter. Whatever is covering you shall be uncovered. Whatever is causing you sorrow shall be terminated. The Lord will answer all your prayers; heal all your diseases and sicknesses.

Also, in 1Samuel 1:1-11, Hannah was sorrowful because she was barren and prayed earnestly to God to remember her. Her prayer was answered, as she conceived and bore a son, whom she named Samuel. I do not know what you are passing through; what is making you unhappy or sorrowful, but what I know is that before the end of this program your sorrow shall turn to joyful dance and testimonies. God will wipe away your tears and your sorrow shall be over. You are lifted. As the Lord answered the prayer of Sarah and Hannah, and terminated their sorrows, he will answer you and deliver you from all your sicknesses, infirmities and afflictions, in the name of Jesus. Your matter is settled.

Brethren take up your Pray Effective Prayer Book #37.
PRAYER For Help In Time Of TROUBLE.
Lord, do not be angry and rebuke me! Do not punish me in your anger! I am worn out, O Lord, have pity on me! Give me strength, I am completely exhausted and my whole being is deeply troubled. How long will you wait to help me? Come and save me; Lord, in your mercy rescue me from death. In the world of death you are not remembered, no one can praise you there. I am worn out with grief, every night my bed is damp from my weeping, my pillow is soaked with tears I can hardly see, my eyes are so swollen from the weeping caused by my enemies.

Keep away from me, you evil men! The Lord hears my weeping; he listens to my cry for help and will answer my prayer. Therefore, as it is written in Micah 7:8, I declare "rejoice not against me, O mine enemy. When I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light unto me". Amen. My enemies will know the bitter shame of defeat, in sudden confusion they will be driven away in Jesus name. Amen.
