THE PLANDEMIC - FOLLOW THE MONEY

Dr. John Campbell

In addition to his well-known obedience studies, Stanley Milgram conducted research into the potential relationship between watching television and antisocial behavior.

"Corporate Media, Television and Antisocial Behavior: Field Experiments": Milgram and R.L. Shotland published a report on field experiments examining the effects of television content on actions, attitudes, and social interactions in real-world settings.

Research indicates a correlation between excessive television viewing, particularly in childhood and adolescence, and increased antisocial behavior in early adulthood. This includes a higher likelihood of criminal convictions, antisocial personality disorder diagnoses, and aggressive personality traits. While the relationship is not definitively causal, studies suggest that excessive screen time can contribute to antisocial behavior through various mechanisms, including increased inactivity, potential sleep disturbances, and impaired development.

Stanley Milgram's destructive obedience studies explored how ordinary people can be influenced to carry out actions they find morally objectionable, even harmful, when instructed by an authority figure. The experiments, conducted in the 1960s, revealed that a significant percentage of participants were willing to administer what they believed were increasingly painful electric shocks to another person (an actor) simply because they were instructed to do so by the experimenter.

The Experiment:

Participants were told they were part of a study on learning and memory and were assigned the role of "teacher."

Their task was to administer electric shocks to a "learner" (an actor) for each incorrect answer.

The shocks were fake, but the participants were led to believe they were real and increasingly intense, with escalating levels of pain.

Despite the "learner's" increasingly distressed reactions and protests (including screams and pleas to stop), a substantial number of participants continued to administer shocks, even up to the highest level, because the experimenter (an authority figure) instructed them to do so.

Key Findings:

Obedience to Authority:
Milgram's research demonstrated a powerful tendency for individuals to obey authority figures, even when the commands conflict with their conscience.

Destructive Obedience:
The willingness to harm another person based on orders from an authority figure was termed destructive obedience.

Factors Influencing Obedience:
Milgram identified several factors that increased obedience, including the perceived legitimacy of the authority figure, the presence of the authority figure, and the lack of personal responsibility for the consequences.

Real-World Implications:
The study has been interpreted as shedding light on how ordinary people can participate in atrocities, such as the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza, by blindly following orders.
