The Before Days: Monkey is a Useless Cat

Monkey was a Russian Blue kitty that adopted us while my Dad was working on the back porch. She was sleeping under our RV in the backyard with a litter of kittens. Monkey was left behind and we took her in.

She was mostly Mom's cat, but she gradually became my cat over time. After this incident, she would be a fine mouser; I guess she needed training.

She died of respiratory failure in May of 2017, two months after my Mom died of pancreatic cancer. The party line, tho, was that she grieved herself to death.

I miss all of my cats, and the one dog I had as well (I'll talk about that one some other time). ;_;
