After Edgar Berlanga's embarrassing knockout loss to Hamzah Sheeraz, many fans say that it's over for the man I coined, "The Puerto Rican Assassin." Many fans, especially from New York, are happy to see this hype train come to a complete stop.

But as you know, Edgar Berlanga will be back someday, and when he returns, who does he fight next? The logical opponent for me is Caleb Plant. As I mentioned yesterday, I must give Berlanga's management team credit.

They took a mediocre fighter with punching power and secured him two big paydays against Canelo and Hamza Sheeraz. But the parade is over. The gig is up. It's now back to reality.

Where does Berlanga go from here? For starters, he needs to leave New York and take the sport of boxing seriously. No one is buying the fake tough guy role anymore.

Not after seeing you get embarrassed in front of thousands of fans in Queens. Secondly, he needs to leave Fat Joe and the Terror Squad alone. Fat Joe is an old, played-out tough guy turned rapper in his fifties.

Edgar Berlanga is a young, energetic, mediocre fighter who can punch. Fat Joe and the Terror Squad are a distraction. Edgar Berlanga needs some elders who can guide him back on the right track.

He has a good trainer and management team, but he needs to drop the 'wanna-be tough guy/rapper/gangster/drug dealer' persona. Why? Because nobody believes you.

Everyone knows you're a fake and a phony. Boricuas from New York look at you as a clown and a studio gangster. If you want to be taken seriously in the sport of boxing again, you need to listen to your trainer and your management team.

Understand your strengths and your weaknesses. Don't drink your own Kool-Aid. Stop believing your own hype. If you do that, maybe you can regain some respect back from the fans.

Adran Broner tried being the clown of boxing, and you see what happened to him. He's still clowning, broke, and looks like a fool after blowing millions of dollars.

Hopefully, Edgar Berlanga takes heed to the warnings. Hopefully, Edgar Berlanga learns from his clownish behavior and gets back to boxing. If not, I can see the fans clowning him again.

What do you think is next for Edgar Berlanga?
