How to change BMW 3 series E90 E91 E92 rear light bulbs reverse tail fog stop and indicator
Today we are looking at changing the light bulbs at the rear of the BMW 3 Series E91 but the same principles are for the whole range of BMW 3 series including the E90 E91 and E92 variants.
In this video we will show you how to get access to the following bulbs

Stop lights, Tail lights, Fog lamps, reverse lamp, and indicator lamps.

For the majority of owners the rear left light cluster is the easiest one, remove the warning triangle cover using the handle and this will give access to the bulb holder, press the release clip towards the floor and pull the housing out.

The bulbs in the boot / tailgate lid / trunk lid are behind the plastic trim, press the 3 release clips down and lever the panel out to gain access. The bulb holder is behind the protective foam which may be already pre cut, if not take a sharp blade and trim the foam to allow access.
again the release clip needs to be pushed down and then pull out the bulb holder to gain access to the bulbs.

The battery side is the more involved side, remove the spare wheel cover / boot floor and then on the battery cover / storage area remove any plastic clips in the bottom section, then a sharp tug should allow the cover to be removed.
You will now have access to the bulb holder, again push the retaining clip down towards the boot floor and pull the bulb holders out to gain access.

refitting is the reverse process.
