Walking Ashley Flats. Tranquil Moments by the Swan River

A calm afternoon walk through Ashley Flats Reserve, near the Swan River in Perth. The soft rustle of the wind through the grass, the gentle flow of the river, and the quiet presence of nature all around. It’s the kind of place where time slows and thoughts drift.

But at the very end… something strange appears. A tree unlike any other — from afar, it seems to have a human head, and its twisted branches stretch backwards like arms frozen in motion.

My little dog makes a brief appearance too, just before the tree reveals itself.
