- Significant flooding has been reported on the NJ Turnpike, with posts on X indicating severe conditions, including the outer roadway northbound north of Interchange 11 (Garden State Parkway, Woodbridge Twp) with the left lane affected, and both inner and outer roadways southbound between Interchange 14 (I-78/US 1&9, Newark) and Interchange 12 (Carteret-Rahway) experiencing a 9-mile delay due to flooding.

- Parts of Bergen, Essex, Passaic, Hudson, and Union counties, with 1-2 inches of rain already fallen and an additional 1-2 inches possible. Affected towns include Newark, Paterson, Elizabeth, Passaic, Bayonne, Wayne, Plainfield, Bloomfield, Hackensack, and others, with urban and small stream flooding reported.

- In Essex County, Main Street in Belleville was reported flooded, with authorities urging residents to avoid the area. In Bergen County, flooding on Route 208 closed one lane in both directions at Goffle Road in Hawthorne. These conditions are affecting local neighborhoods and roadways near the Turnpike

- The National Weather Service reported flash flooding across Northern New Jersey, with a Level 2 out of 4 risk for flash flooding, particularly west of the Hudson River.
