Info from Licensor: "On December 16, 2018 at 9:01 am a State Highway Patrol Trooper rang my doorbell.

Of course, seeing that on my Ring app was a little worrisome. Upon answer the door I discovered that he had an Amazon package in his hand.

He stated that while driving he saw the package in the middle of the highway. He picked it up and decided to deliver it. He stated that he thought maybe it fell off of a delivery truck.

The package contained a Christmas gift for my 11-year-old daughter. It was sent to her from her father who lives in Florida. She does not get see him very often so she is always appreciative of mail from him. She would have been pretty disappointed if she had not received her gift from him.

We thanked him, shook his hand, and he continued on his way.

I then reached out to Kansas Highway Patrol and posted a screenshot on my facebook page. 1. Because it was extremely unusual, 2. I was trying to find out who he was so we could send a thank you.

We did, in fact, send thank you cards as well as a gift. We really appreciate the effort he took to deliver the package to us."
