Devastating Texas Flood Rises 20 Feet in 60 Seconds — Dozens Killed, Including Summer Camp Girls

Footage of the recent flooding in Texas shows water levels rising more than 6 meters in just 60 seconds. A wall of mud and debris swept away everything in its path — homes, trees, bridges, and people.
A total of 119 people were killed, and 161 are missing.

Among the young victims were many girls from the “Mystic” camp — a Christian summer camp for girls. Twenty-seven campers and staff lost their lives, while five girls and a 19-year-old counselor remain missing.

Nearly all of the missing are presumed dead.
