Still Holding On

I’ve walked through storms with empty hands,
Felt the earth slip like shifting sand.
But even when I lost my way,
Something soft inside would stay.

It didn’t shout, it didn’t shine —
Just whispered, “You’re still mine.”

I’m still holding on — to something small,
Even when I’ve lost it all.
It’s not loud, it’s not strong,
But it’s been with me all along.
Hope’s not perfect, but it’s real —
It’s how I stand, it’s how I heal.
And though the night feels far too long...
I’m still
Holding on.

I’ve known the weight of silent pain,
And watched joy wash away like rain.
But every breath I dared to take,
Built the bridge I’ve yet to make.

Even cracked and torn apart —
Hope kept beating in my heart.

I’m still holding on — not sure how,
But I’m still standing here right now.
Though the road is rough and steep,
And I’ve cried myself to sleep —
Hope keeps living in my chest,
A quiet, stubborn kind of yes.
Even when the light feels gone…
I’m still
Holding on.

You don’t need to win or prove,
Just breathe and let your soul move.
Hope’s not something you must earn —
It’s the fire that still burns.

So I’m still holding on — thread by thread,
To the dreams I thought were dead.
And if I fall, I’ll rise again,
Because hope begins within.
It’s not easy, but it’s true —
Hope is something we walk through.
No matter where or what went wrong…
I’m still
Holding on.
