Here's how to get compliments from the citizens (NPCs) of Los Santos. Drive a car like this. Even the prostitutes respond. This is Trevor's car. It looked like a car he would drive.

All cars in the 3 garages will show up in director mode. These are the garages that Michael, Franklin and Trevor bought. The mods are also with them. Director mode is a great mode to drive the cars you don't want to drive in story mode because of fear of losing it.

There are some cars, even on here that you just don't want to beat up like this one. It has all of the mods too.
