Day 9 | July 13, 2025 — Topic: DIVINE VISITATION! 100 Days Prayer & Fasting
We are on DAY 9 SUNDAY - 13TH JULY, 2025.
Topic: DIVINE VISITATION.
We take our scriptures from the book of Luke 19:1, Jesus Comes to Zacchaeus’ House! Then Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. hallelujah!
John 11:28-44, Jesus and Death, the Last Enemy. And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come, and calleth for thee. As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly, and came unto him. Now Jesus was not yet come into the town, but was in that place where Martha met him. The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goeth unto the grave to weep there. Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled. And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see. Jesus wept. Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him! And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died? Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it. Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go. hallelujah!
1st Kings 3:3-15,
And Solomon loved the Lord, walking in the statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and burnt incense in high places. And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar. In Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give thee. And Solomon said, Thou hast shewed unto thy servant David my father great mercy, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great kindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day. And now, O Lord my God, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in. And thy servant is in the midst of thy people which thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude. Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people? And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing. And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment; Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee. And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days. And if thou wilt walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as thy father David did walk, then I will lengthen thy days. And Solomon awoke; and, behold, it was a dream. And he came to Jerusalem, and stood before the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and offered up burnt offerings, and offered peace offerings, and made a feast to all his servants. hallelujah!
Scriptural summary: Evidently, it is undebatable to state that divine visitation is an uncommon encounter that must produce positive result. The Lord cannot visit you and you remain the same. There must be an evidence. It is usually accompanied by transformation, healing, deliverance, salvation, honour, signs, wonders, and miracles. In Luke 19:1-10, the Lord located and visited the house of Zacchaeus, who was a short man, a tax collector and was regarded as a sinner because of the nature of his work. He heard that Jesus was passing ahead of him and climbed up a sycamore tree in order to see him, when he will be passing. When the Lord took notice of what he has done, he told him to come down and followed him to his house. At his house, Zacchaeus welcomed the Lord and declared that he will give half of his property to the poor and pay back four times as much to anybody he has cheated. Pleasantly with the actions, activities and declarations of Zacchaeus the Lord said that salvation has come to his house that day. What Zacchaeus did that day was a demonstration of repentance, faith and transformation. In John 11:28-44, the Lord visited the house of Mary and Martha, the sisters of Lazarus, who had died and was buried four days before his arrival. His visitation ended sorrow and mourning in their house as the Lord brought their brother Lazarus back to life. In Luke 4:38-39, the Lord visited the house of Simon and healed the mother in-law who was sick with a high fever. Conclusively, in 1st Kings 3:3-15 the Lord visited Solomon in a dream and blessed him greatly with wisdom and astonishing wealth more than anyone who had existed before him and will ever exist after him. His wealth can neither be calculated, estimated, measured nor enumerated. Before the end of this program, you shall be divinely visited and located for healing, deliverance and financial settlement. The Lord will rearrange your life for good. You shall not labour in vain. Your labour shall bear fruits, in season and out of season, in the name of Jesus. Your testimony shall be loud.
