Getting by in the Savannah with the Men of the Last Stone Age

The Hadzabe are a tribe that appears to have come from a different era, living in the center of the African savannah, where nature rules supreme and the sun burns the land. Time seems to have stopped here, apart from everything we are familiar with. A story anchored in the beginnings of humankind is told by their handcrafted bows, a language that recalls humanity's ancient past, and a hunting and gathering-based way of life.

We hunted alongside them for four days, attempting to keep up with their rapid pace in the baboon country. We recorded what our ancestors may have done on a daily basis thousands of years ago. Ultimately, we developed a connection that transcends friendship.
