Raids expose CHILD EXPLOITATION at farms

Since early June 2025, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has intensified mass raids in the Los Angeles area as part of a federal operation aimed at executing deportation orders. These actions involve the participation of the National Guard and other federal forces, with a daily target of up to 3,000 arrests, focused on areas such as the fashion district, store parking lots, car washes, and cannabis farms.

One of the most alarming aspects of these operations has been the discovery of child labor exploitation. At cannabis farms located in Camarillo and Carpinteria, ICE rescued at least 10 unaccompanied minors who were being forced to work. Some of these farms were operated by legal companies like Glass House Farms, where mass arrests of between 200 and 300 people also took place. Investigations point to a network of human trafficking and child exploitation.

In response to this situation, Mayor Karen Bass signed an executive order to protect the illegal immigrants captured in the raids, offering direct financial assistance and legal services — all funded by taxpayers. She also demanded transparency from federal agencies through Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. The city of Los Angeles has also initiated legal action against the federal government, claiming that the raids violate constitutional rights and are politically motivated.

Governor Gavin Newsom and other state leaders have strongly condemned ICE's actions, labeling them as a form of "domestic terror."
