The county removed a bill after telling me it was in the stack, so I got fined for it.

The county admits that I paid $13,000.00 in 2017, yet about 1 month later, a fully paid bill was no longer fully paid. They told me it was paid in full, but they removed one bill from the stack and didn't tell me until years later.
