Does BMW and Mercedes “export overcapacity”? Does Microsoft and Amazon “export overcapacity”? Does Starbucks and MacDonalds “export overcapacity”? Does Glaxo and Pfizer and Bristol Myers Squibb “export overcapacity”? Does Airbus and Boeing “export overcapacity”?

Maybe all these overwhelmingly dominant Western companies should retrench and simply sell all their “overproduction” at home in the U.S. and the EU rather than export it all over the world!!!

The U.S. and EU were quite happy with their own corporations’ overwhelming “overcapacity” and worldwide dominance when they were the only ones dominating, and China was making cheap plastic toys for Walmart. Only 20% of China’s gdp is exports. That means a full 80% is domestic. Since USA exports are only 15% of total exports, that means only 20%x15% = 3% of gdp are USA exports. On the other hand, imports from China represent a huge part of USA consumption. And 70% of USA gdp is consumption. Who needs who? Numbers don’t lie, but USA media does.
