A TRIBUTE TO MY SIGONG BRUCE LEE BY JKD SIFU MIKE GOLDBERG

Though this "American" born Film Star is best known for his martial arts explosiveness on the big screen. I remember him for his decision to teach Kung-fu to non-Chinese students regardless of their ethnicity, race, religion, or sex which was against Chinese tradition at that time in San Francisco which offended masters of Hong Kong descent which caused a lot of conflict for Bruce his family and students, but, like other advocates of "Equal Rights" my Sigong the Master of my Master the Late Sifu Bob Bremer who along with another well known JKD Master Sifu Tim Tackett (who trained under Dan Inosanto) both were active contributors to the JKD Wednesday Night Group. I was blessed to have been certified to teach "Jeet Kune Do" (The Way Of The Intercepting Fist) by both of these iconic martial arts greats! Bruce Lee passed away on July 20th back in 1973.
