A popular Western New York year-round destination will soon be getting a makeover thanks to funding from the state. The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens will receive $1.5 million to "to demolish several outdated buildings, which will provide space for an addition that will include a butterfly conservatory, educational classrooms, expanded grow houses, event space, a variety of unique exhibits, a café, and expanded visitor and admissions areas. The Botanical Gardens also plans to grow its offerings in the newly constructed facility."
