Day 193: Wisdom That Builds a Life — Proverbs 22–24 | Bible In A Year (CSB)

Proverbs 22–24 offers practical and spiritual guidance for living a life rooted in integrity, humility, and reverence for God. These chapters emphasize the importance of wise friendships, just treatment of others, self-control, and the long-term consequences of our choices. Wisdom is shown not just in what we know, but in how we live and lead others.

Questions:
1. Proverbs 22:4 says, “The reward for humility and fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life.” How does this verse challenge the way we typically think about success and reward?

2. Proverbs 23 warns against envying sinners and chasing after fleeting pleasures. How can we train our hearts to desire what lasts rather than what feels immediately satisfying?

3. Proverbs 24:3–4 says, “By wisdom a house is built… by knowledge the rooms are filled.” What does it look like to build a life—or a family—on wisdom, and how can we invest in that foundation daily?
