Assassination
This silent film was recorded at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, TN on April 5, 1968 - the day after the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. there on its balcony. Dr. King had been staying in Room 306. Portions were also recorded at the rooming house nearby from which the fatal shot was fired. The Lorraine Motel is now the centerpiece of the National Civil Rights Museum.
