Tisas DS - It's an Alloy Trigger Shoe

I've seen more than a few reviewers stating that the trigger shoes on the Tisas DS Carry and Duty are polymer.

I'm one of those folks that will ask, "Who said that?"

If you look on the product pages, although it doesn't say if it's polymer or alloy/steel, it says: SF Skeletonized Black Finish. It's coated. I've never seen a gun maker paint/color a polymer object.

I also removed the whole trigger mechanism (twice). I had the opportunity to check the shoe. I don't believe it's polymer. I'm pretty sure it's aluminum alloy. I even took a sharp knife to it, trying to scrape off some polymer - I was unable to remove any material, as it was too hard. I then took the knife to some of the grip's polymer (inside the mag well)...I was able to peel some polymer off.

Not that it makes the gun bad (beause several high end guns have polymer trigger shoes), but if I don't see the manufacturer stating it's polymer, I'm not going to make shit up by saying it's polymer! :)
