JUST FOCUS ON THE WORK GOD’S GIVEN YOU TO DO

1 Corinthians 3:7-8 New King James Version
7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYBODY!!!
You know guys, if you read these verses very carefully, Paul speaks to at least two really important things here. The first of which is, neither Paul nor Apollos saves, but only Jesus Christ saves. However, he also wants to make sure that people realize that no one person who serves the Lord is greater than anybody else within the body of Christ. That there are people who “plant” and “water”, but that ultimately God does give the increase, or produces the harvest. That each and every member of the body of Christ has value, and what we need to focus on is the task, using the gifts that He’s given us. I think that's why this question from this morning's devotional, really got me thinking about the opportunities God's given me to serve Him, and I pray that each and every opportunity I have been given I don't waste. Please read this question carefully, and I pray that God will speak to your heart through it.

What opportunities has God given you to use the gifts He’s provided for you?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God has been allowing me to learn from these verses of scripture, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you helps you to see that God has given you as a believer in Christ, specific gifts to serve him in different ways, and that we shouldn't compare ourselves with others. But most of all, that we allow God to oversee the timing of the harvest. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends and see just exactly what I mean! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it challenges you to just focus on serving Christ.

How can you best use these in this time and season?

My prayer for all of you tonight, is that you deeply think about what I've said in this vlog, and that you act on it. Don't compare yourself to the person that sings in the church, the pastor, the Deacon, or anyone else, but you focus on the gifts and abilities God's given you to use for Him and use them! I've stated this once before, and I'll state it again. Remember guys, this isn't a competition, but just about serving Jesus! So, let's start focusing on the tasks, the gifts, and abilities God has given us to serve Him with, serve Him. After all, God gives each of us specific gifts to serve Him differently, and we don't need to compare ourselves to others. God overseas the timing.
