Bruce Pardy on Political Uncertainty, Blind Justice, & How an Independent Alberta Could Save Canada

Bruce Pardy is professor of law at Queen’s University, senior fellow with the Fraser Institute, and executive director of Rights Probe. We were happy to have Bruce join us on the show last to discuss a number of issues related to Alberta independence.

In this hour-long discussion we were able to cover a number of pertinent topics which we hope will help further the discussion and seize the moment and opportunity in which Albertans find themselves. What role will the Clarity Act play in all this? Is there enough will within the people to tolerate the kind of deep uncertainty that will arise from such a major reformation? What are the consequences if we fail? And what does success even look like in the short, medium, and long-term?
