Josiah Lippincott on foreign conflicts, America invaded & our place in the world | Collegians 2025

Josiah Lippincott – writer, political scientist, and economist – believes that the absence of “boots on the ground” in new Middle East conflicts is a good sign. There has been far too much excessive military involvement in the Middle East, and it has led to America’s political ruin. He says that the “moralized Crusading” has led to the ruin of American politics, as well as capital, over the last generation. Peace and prosperity for the American people will be difficult to reach if we continue to overreach ourselves into foreign conflicts.
