Toussaint's beauty hides a venomous truth monsters, murderers, and nobles too drunk on their own importance. I took a contract from a merchant guild only to find corpses torn by a beast… and a Count claiming it was his pet basilisk. I let it live, though not without securing safer trade routes and cheaper ingredients for myself.

But the oddities of this land didn’t stop there. A strange notice lured me to Lac Célavy, where a hermit offered me a sword of legend if I could prove I lived by five chivalric virtues. Valor, Compassion, Honor, Wisdom, Generosity. Against all odds, I passed each trial. The hermit revealed himself as the Lady of the Lake… and Aerondight became mine once more.

Yet peace never lingers. A giant charged a windmill, and I, alongside knights Milton and Palmerin, brought it down. That’s when I heard of “the Beast.” Its latest victim had been moved to Corvo Bianco, but I found signs others missed. Not long after, I fought a bruxa in the vineyards one tied to the Beast, but not it.

To get answers, I met with Duchess Anna Henrietta. We pieced together the clues, but we were too late to save Milton. He was butchered during a chivalric garden game some twisted parody of innocence. I chased the killer through the streets, finally cornering him. But before I could finish the job, Regis appeared.

So here I stand Aerondight at my side, old friend at my back, and the Beast still on the loose.
Time to end the hunt.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is the groundbreaking installment in CD PROJEKT RED’s acclaimed series following the legendary witcher, Geralt of Rivia. After multiple delays, the game was officially released on May 19, 2015, and made an immediate impact. Selling over 4 million copies in just two weeks, more than doubling the total sales of its predecessor, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.

Unlike the previous entries, The Witcher 3 takes place in a sprawling multi-region open world, offering over 100 hours of content across dynamic landscapes. Inspired by the scale of games like Skyrim but over 20% larger the developers aimed to refine the open-world experience by learning from industry benchmarks while addressing their shortcomings.

Powered by the cutting-edge REDengine 3, the game was built with extensive fan feedback in mind. As always, player choices carry weight, shaping the narrative in significant and sometimes unexpected ways. This is not just a sequel. It’s a full evolution of the Witcher saga.
