Devastating Truth Behind the Flat Earth Waves hiding boats Claim | Actually Tested in Real Life

Flat Earth believers often repeat a specific claim: that a small wave — just 2 or 3 feet tall — can block an entire building from view. Sometimes they say 50 feet is hidden. Sometimes 800. And the explanation? “It’s just perspective.”

This idea has been pushed by big Flat Earth names like Flat Earth Dave, Geocentric, and Gene Techman, often using crude graphics and misleading animations that ignore basic geometry and line-of-sight physics. But what happens when we test that claim in the real world?

In this video, I take a camera, a 3-foot object (representing the “wave”), and a measuring board marked in 1-foot increments leaned against a car — placed all the way across a flat parking lot. I set the camera just above 3 feet high and show exactly what happens when an object moves across a perfectly flat surface.

Spoiler: the 3-foot object never blocks more than 3 feet of the object behind it — no matter how far away it is. That’s how perspective and line-of-sight actually work when there's no curve involved. This is a simple, repeatable test anyone can do. No special equipment. No editing tricks. Just geometry and observation.

And then I compare it to real-world examples Flat Earthers often share — like distant buildings where several stories appear hidden, despite “only 2-foot waves.” But as you’ll see, there’s a major problem with their claim: it doesn’t match real-world physics unless you include the curvature of the Earth.

🌎 This video is for anyone who values critical thinking, real experiments, and scientific honesty. Whether you're skeptical of mainstream science, curious about the shape of our planet, or just want to see an optical claim put to the test, you’ll find this demonstration eye-opening.

🔬 If you’ve ever wondered how much a wave can actually block, or why distant buildings sometimes appear “cut off,” this experiment gives you the tools to understand it — and recreate it yourself.

🚫 No CGI. No simulations. No excuses. Just real-world testing and visual evidence — something even Flat Earth believers say they want.

➡️ Test the claim. Look at the evidence.
📏 Because on a flat surface, a 3-foot wave can only block 3 feet — and that's the truth.
