Baltimore Channel Recovery Progress – Key Bridge Update

Unified Command continues efforts to fully restore Baltimore’s Fort McHenry Federal Channel after the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge. As of May 20, 2024, a 400-foot-wide channel is open for deep-draft vessels. Full restoration to 700 feet wide and 50 feet deep is projected by June 8–10.
