An awestruck Maryland man captured curious footage of a UFO that zipped across the sky during a recent thunderstorm.

The intriguing sighting was reportedly filmed on Monday evening by an unnamed witness in the community of Kingston.

While filming a thunderstorm that was unfolding that night, the man was taken aback when a bright elongated object suddenly cut a path through the sky right at the moment when a lightning bolt lit up the area.
