We’re about to go through some interesting times here in the Pacific Northwest. Yes, I’m afraid that the beautiful evergreen covered mountains, the snow-covered peaks, and even the moderate weather we experience it’s going to be upstaged sometime this year if not next year. About 300 miles out in the Pacific and under your sea volcano has come to life and it could erupt at any time. Recent earthquake clusters under mountains like Mount Rainier, mount hood, the three sister’s volcano and some others that I won’t mention have scientists a big concerned about the possibility of an eruption on one of these peaks. Add to that the real possibility of a very large earthquake caused by the Cascadia fault offshore it seems that things might get interesting soon. Finally, it is quite possible that we will be getting a celestial show in the sky that none of us will Ever forget. The star Betelgeuse it appears is in its last rows of life and could quite possibly become a supernova at any time. Signs of the times? Yes. So we’ll explore these future events today on the show.
