Today we put two 16” AR-10’s head-to-head with 150gr and 168gr handloads, 1x8 LVPOs, and 100 yards. These are both great AR-10 7.62x51/308 caliber rifles that fill the gap in caliber from 5.56, making them both true designated marksman rifles (DMRs). Both can hold up to 25-rounds per standard capacity magazine, both can take just about any optic configuration, and both are sub $2k range.
