Being

Eventually, there is nothing left to say.

There is nothing that can be done; doing nothing is the action—sharing presence. The mind might try to find words to say or something to discuss, or come up with goals to achieve in order to take us out of the present moment—what is—and the intensity of being with, being together, sharing breathing, and sharing life.

The mind thrives on novelty, dismissing what is in search of something new and different—as if what is were not enough. "There has to be something better." Or, "Those words have been said; we need to find new ones."

Why? "Well, we need to do something." Why? Because, for the mind, Being is unbearable.

Doing nothing—that’s activity. Do nothing.

"How many times do I inhale and exhale?" Well, as long as I live. Is breathing boring? Even if it is, so what? It’s something we can’t not do.

Return to the Real. Find support in and rely on that ground, Being, and that’s where we meet.
