Day 190: Walking the Path of Wisdom — Proverbs 13–15 | Bible In A Year (CSB)

6

Proverbs 13–15 continues to contrast the life of the wise and the foolish, highlighting how our choices—especially in speech, discipline, and relationships—shape our character and future. These chapters remind us that wisdom is not just about knowledge, but about living in a way that honors God and brings life to others.

Questions:
1. Proverbs 13:20 says, “Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise.” How do the people we spend time with influence our spiritual growth, and what does it look like to walk with the wise today?

2. Proverbs 14:12 warns that a way that seems right to us may end in death. How can we guard against relying on our own understanding and stay anchored in God’s truth?

3. Proverbs 15 emphasizes that God sees and weighs the heart. In what ways can we cultivate a heart that pleases Him, beyond just outward actions or appearances?
