Domestic Violence Call Leads to Stabbing Suspect Fatally Shot

On May 27, 2020, the Kern County Sheriff's Office Incident Review Board convened to consider the use of force in an officer-involved shooting that occurred on May 7, 2020.

After reviewing all of the facts involved in this case, the Incident Review Board determined the use of force in this incident was within departmental policy.
