Burbank PD RESCUE Mentally Disabled Woman in Verdugo Mountains

Burbank Police responded to the Verdugo Mountains to search for a missing woman who was having a mental health episode. Due to the large search area and the rugged terrain, we deployed our drone to assist in the search. After hours of searching, Officers located the woman near a cliff in imminent danger. Officers hiked to her location and were able to safely assist her off he mountain where she was treated by the Fire Department and later transported to the hospital for further evaluation.
