The IDF has confirmed the elimination of Taha Abu Ayadeh, a Hamas terrorist who led the October 7 attack on a gas station near Kibbutz Magen. Ayadeh, a commander in Hamas’s elite Nukhba Force, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in the Khan Younis region of southern Gaza on July 1.

He and his unit infiltrated Israel during the October 7 massacre and launched a violent assault on the Magen-area gas station. Video footage released by the South First Responders group in November 2023 showed two Israeli workers fleeing gunfire and hiding inside a freezer for hours until they were safely extracted.
