4th of July in North Texas

We started our long weekend on Thursday night with a delicious TexMex dinner at Cactus Canyon in Argyle. Then the next day for the 4th of July after walking the dogs I make my breakfast fried rice using organic sausage eggs and vegetables. Later on we go on a scenic drive to Grapevine, and the lake to get more steps. We go for a walk on Lakeside Boardwalk where we stop at the sunset lookout point. Dave wanted to walk along a trail in the woods, it was rocky but we discovered a scenic little beach area at the end of the trail.
