BLT 1/4 Executes Amphibious Boat Raid – Okinawa, Japan

CAMP SCHWAB, OKINAWA – June 20–21, 2024

U.S. Marines with Battalion Landing Team 1/4, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, conduct a boat raid exercise to sharpen amphibious assault capabilities and reinforce company-level tactics. Operating from sea to shore, these Marines train for rapid response and mission execution across the Indo-Pacific battlespace.

As the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, the 31st MEU remains a lethal, flexible force—always ready to respond to regional crises and global contingencies.
