Can Amanda Serrano Dethrone Katie Taylor in New York? That is the question of today. In what many call a close fight in the previous 2 matches, Amanda Serrano is hell bent on becoming the new Undisputed Super Lightweight Champion of the world.

Many believed, including myself, that Amada won their first fight back in April of 2022 in Madison Square Garden. It appears that Katie Taylor is a fan favorite among the judges, regardless of where she fights.

Her only loss came at the hands of Chantelle Cameron in Dublin, Ireland back in 2023. The question is, what can Amanda do differently? For one, she's gonna have to box more.

Amanda abandons defense for offense. She likes to trade too much, leaving her vulnerable to counterpunches. She gets hit too much for my liking. Katie Taylor fights the same way.

Whenever these ladies get together, boxing goes out the window. They get to the middle of the ring and trade punches. I would suggest Amanda switch it up this time.

Why? Because the last two fights went the other way. She couldn't even get a decision in her hometown of New York in the first fight. A fight where I thought she clearly won.

Let's see if the third time will be a charm. In other news, Alycia Baumgardner is making her debut with Jake Paul's MVP Promotions. She's set to face off against Jennifer Miranda of Spain.

I'm picking Alycia to win this fight easily. Once Amanda Serrano retires, Alycia will become the face of women's boxing for MVP Promotions. Savannah Marshall will face off against Shadasia Green at Super Middleweight.

This is a unification bout for the IBF and WBO titles. I'm picking Savannh Marshall in this fight. I think her experience in big-time fights will be too much for Shadasia to overcome.

Shadasia will have to set the pace of this fight early. If not, it's going to be a long night for her. Ellie Scotney will put her IBF & WBO titles on the line against Yamileth Mercado.

Also, Cherneka Johnson will defend her WBO World Title against Shurretta Metcalf. Shurretta is from Dallas, Texas. At 40 years old, can she bring the WBO title back to Dallas?
