Countries worldwide are ditching the US dollar for international trade. Currently, the US Dollar is the world’s reserve currency. De-dollarization in China, Russia, Brazil, and other BRICS nations is already happening. De-dollarizing is happening at 10x faster than the previous two decades, Stephen Jen, CEO and Co-CIO of Eurizon SLJ said.

De-dollarization, otherwise known as the phenomenon that denotes the dumping of the U.S. dollar on a global scale, is now a burning concept running amok among global nations. The concept is now gaining maximum steam, primarily due to the rising narratives that continue to hammer the US dollar’s prestige and valuation.

The United States currency has been and continue to be used for weaponization, to sanction, to punish other nations. This is compelling nations around the world, to consider shifting away from the dollar.
