U.S. Air Force Refuels U.S. Navy F/A-18 During RIMPAC 2024

JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, HAWAII – July 18, 2024

Aircrew from the 927th Air Refueling Wing (Florida) and 434th Air Refueling Wing (Indiana) conduct in-flight refueling of a U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet using a KC-135 Stratotanker during Exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2024 near Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.

As part of the world’s largest maritime exercise, this operation demonstrates seamless joint-force integration and highlights U.S. aerial refueling capability in support of sustained air superiority and maritime security across the Indo-Pacific theater.
