▶️Alcohol Implications
🎬Effects of it on the brain
👉Alcohol has both short-term and long-term effects on the body
👉Short-term effects include impaired judgment, coordination, and reaction time, as well as nausea, vomiting, and potential for injury or alcohol poisoning
👉Long-term effects can range from liver damage, heart disease, and certain cancers to weakened immunity and mental health issues.
🎬Law implications
👉This teaching does not sort drinking at your job, during care of children, driving or doing responsibilities. The legal limit is 0.8% blood alcohol which is a few drinks
👉In USA, the legal age is 21
👉The legal implications of alcohol consumption are extensive, primarily surrounding drinking & driving, underage drinking, public intoxication & alcohol-related offenses like assault or property damage
👉Penalties can range from fines and license suspension to jail time and a criminal record, potentially affecting future opportunities

▶️Is drinking a sin?
👉Answer: No, getting drunk is
🎬1.) Christ drank & they called Him a drunk
🎺Matthew 11:18-19 "For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon.’ The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’ But wisdom is proved right by her deed"
🎺Matthew 26:29 "And I say to you, I will not drink from henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I shall drink it with you new in the kingdom of my Father"
🎬2.) A little wine is good
👉Paul said dont only drink water
🎺1 Timothy 5:23 "Stop drinking only water, and use a little wine because of your stomach and your frequent illnesses"
🎬3.) He turned water to wine at the wedding
🎺John 2:10 “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”
🎬4.) Not everything is good for you
👉Alcohol is not better than water
🎺1 Corinthians 10:23 "All things are legitimate [permissible—and we are free to do anything we please], but not all things are helpful (expedient, profitable, and wholesome)"
🎬5.) God said enjoy Earth
🎺Genesis 1:29 "Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food"
🎺Galatians 5:1 "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery"

▶️Final Advice & Prayer
👉Alcohol lowers mental inhibitions, and makes a slippery slope
👉I have many mistakes drinking & it is No excuse, but at least observation, understanding & lessons learned can bring wholesomeness to alcohols use
🎬Every sin is forgiven
🎺Matthew 12:30-31 "Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven"
✝️Prayer: "Lord Jesus, You are my Savior and my strength. I ask for Your wisdom to know when to say yes and when to say no. Deliver me from any bondage to alcohol or anything that dulls my spirit. Fill me instead with Your Holy Spirit—peace, clarity, and self-control. I surrender this area of my life to You. Thank You for your love, power, and freedom. In Christ name, Amen."
