After working with hundreds of patients referred to me by their doctors, I learned to ask the right questions. I would say to them,“I know that you are in a dermatology clinic, but do you have bloating, belching, gas, constipation, diarrhea or gastroesophageal reflux?" “Yes,” they would tell me, “but what does that have to do with my skin problems?” So many people take an entire day off work to see two or more doctors, never even thinking that their misery might be linked to one common cause. They don’t think that because their healthcare providers don’t know that. But as was proven so many times, it was true. Tomorrow, I’ll discuss the “poly-symptomatic” and the “poly-pharmacy” patient. On Monday from 2-3PM Central Time, you will learn how to confirm or rule-out a common cause to the many symptoms, many drugs and many doctors you seem relegated to.
