How Can I Ensure We Grow Our Relationship Tomorrow?

Nathan said to me this weekend...

"Dad I can't wait to go on family vacations when I'm older and have a family"

"Why not now? What about this year? We're going back to Disney World man, that's exciting right?" I asked

"Because it'll be fun with my kids and you playing with them and all of us together. We'll go on adventures"

He's already thinking about our relationship past these 18 years when he lives at home.

He sees us as adults together, just as close, and me always loving him and providing warmth.

That's what I will give him.

I focus so much on him right now at this age so much and guiding him as a child.

I almost see a defined time limit, but he doesn't.

He sees forever, so I will too.

I am here for him forever.

He will always have a dad to guide him and provide safe harbor when he needs it.
