Independence Day.

What generations-past viewed as Americanism is very different than what it turned out to be. To them, the essence of Americanism was not revolution but the recognition of the sacredness of human personhood and the inherent inalienable rights which every man possesses independently of the State. That is why, when our country began, our Founding Fathers were very determined to find some basis for human rights, some foundation for human liberties, some guarantee of human personhood, and human dignity preserved in the Image of God, a statement so clear that it would be above the encroachment of tyranny and abuse.

Were they successful? Their statement was beautiful but not successful and carried its own seed of destruction. Yet, Declaration of Independence is one of the most powerful statements of human dignity ever put to paper by a secular forum. “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, and are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights; among there are life, liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
The original draft said, Life, Liberty and Property, but property was controversal since there was that pesky slavery thing, something brought to our shores by the Jewish Slave Trade. The convolution is obvious, if slaves were property, then some men were not equal and only had the right to be property.

So, where do we find the basis for the right of a man to be his own master, captain of his own soul, free in his right to pursue his ultimate end with a free conscience? Where is the root and ground of the right to own property as the extension of human dignity? Where do we find the rock of all liberties which would be strong enough to withstand governments and powers and states, which would not be swollowed up by despots and criminal cabals? And this is where the Secularist who wrote the Declaration of Independence, failed. In the words of Bishop Fulton Sheen writing more than half a century ago, “The noblest declaration of Independence is based on the Declaration of our dependence on God.” But I'm not satisfied with his idea, so I qualify his statement by saying, “Not just a generic God, but God In Jesus Christ, who is Truth and walked among us.” Do Hindus, Taoists, Confusionists, Bhuddist, Muslims, Siks, Jews and all the rest hold this God. They do not. And sadly in America the image of Jesus has been distorted by prideful men, and has become subservient to a number of philosophies and dialectics, to political power, Pagan Hedonism, Bolshevik Marxism and Zionism; the last three being most corossive cancers.

This past week I drove from Hartwell, Georgia across the Georgia countryside. I handn't intended to, but they were repaving Highway 77, and I was south on it a few miles, not far from where the Georgia Guidestones used to stand. Traffic was one way, and cars were backed up at least a half mile behind a flagman waiting their chance to drive north. So I look at the compass and turned west thinking that in a few minutes I would punch up Ways on my cell phone to navagate home, only to discover I had forgotten to take my cell phone with me. Nothing happens by accident, so as I was traveling strictly by the compass that is a feature of my rearview mirror, I keep pointing west and north west, I traveled across beautiful countryside by hundreds of farms and tens of southern evengelical churches, and a few country Methodist churches. Littered like realtors signs, or election signs with the Israeli flag, some saying, “I Stand with Israel” others, “Pray for Israel” others, “Support Israel.” I saw at least fifty of them. Every country church I passed, except a couple Methodist churches were actually flying the Israeli National Flag. The 4th of July was only three days away and what I saw was hard to take. It was obviously a propaganda campaign with huge money behind it. I think some of the anger I was getting from "sola scripture" Rapture Cultists in my comments a few years ago were IDF Cyber warriors, preparing for the present GENOCIDE. What I was exposing threatened them.
