Brazil: PM Modi To Attend BRICS Summit & Meet Brazil's Lula da Silva | N18G

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Brazil for the 17th BRICS Summit and a state visit. He received a grand welcome in Rio de Janeiro as the Indian diaspora performed a cultural dance based on the theme of Operation Sindoor. PM Modi also interacted with the Indian diaspora. On July 6-7, he will attend the BRICS Summit in Rio de Janeiro and hold bilateral meetings. He will then head to Brasilia for a state visit. He will hold bilateral talks with Brazil's President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. Their talks will focus on broadening the strategic partnership between India and Brazil in trade, defence, energy, space, technology, agriculture, health and boosting people-to-people linkages. The trip marks the first bilateral visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Brazil in nearly six decades.
