Drone operators from the “Tigers” UAV unit of the Ussuriysk Brigade successfully struck an enemy BMP-1TS “Kopyo” with a fiber-optic-guided “KVN” drone. The armored vehicle was hit and subsequently caught fire.
It has been reported that a 2S22 "Bohdana" self-propelled artillery system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed by operators of the Russian 49th Combined Arms Army in the Kherson direction.
A visual example of how the appearance of modern tanks has evolved during the ongoing conflict (SVO) can be seen through two Ukrainian Armed Forces armored vehicles destroyed by drone strikes in the village of Belaya Gora, DPR.

First, a rather peculiarly “bare” T-80 tank of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, with its gun covered, casually receives a fiber-optic FPV drone hit under the turret and ends its service in a fiery blaze on the roadside of a tiny Donbas village. Interestingly, this particular tank is somewhat famous, having previously appeared on Ukrainian television.

Just a few hundred meters away lies a T-64 dubbed "Tsar-Mangal" (a slang term implying it burned like a giant grill), covered in multiple layers of various nets and cages. Despite the added protection, it also met a grim end under strikes from Russian FPV drones.

This contrast — a minimally protected tank versus an over-armored one — highlights how even vastly different armor approaches offer little defense against modern drone warfare.
