This is the personal story of Karl Wilhelm Krause, who was the valet of Adolf Hitler from 1934 to 1939, and was also responsible for his personal safety and security.

Krause was one of the closest men to Hitler for five critical years (pre-war buildup, Anschluss, Sudetenland).

Describes Hitler’s personal discipline, vegetarianism, work ethic, and charisma in detail.

Debunks Allied Propaganda

Shows Hitler wasn’t a "madman" but a calculating, highly intelligent leader.

Confirms Hitler’s distrust of the aristocratic General Staff (who often undermined him).

How Hitler managed stress (late-night tea, brief walks).

Weaknesses.

Krause (and the documentary) echoes the post-war "Blame the Generals" narrative, painting them as incompetent or disloyal while portraying Hitler as isolated and betrayed.

Krause never discusses Hitler’s ideological war against Jewry—focuses only on military/political struggles.

No mention of Himmler, Goebbels, or the SS (key players in Hitler’s inner circle).

Krause left service in 1939—so he misses the war years, where Hitler’s leadership was most tested.

Krause’s account is genuine, but filtered through decades of Allied censorship.
