Elon Musk’s political party: A political vision or personal rivalry with Trump?

Tech billionaire Elon Musk says he has created a new political party in the United States, to challenge what he called the country's one-party system.
On the social platform X, the former ally of US President Donald Trump wrote he was forming the America Party, to give back Americans their freedom. He made the announcement after holding a 24-hour poll on the platform, where the majority voted in favor of the new party.
