Hiking Condor Peak: San Gabriel Mountains (Angeles National Forest), CA.

Condor Peak is tough to get to. It is reachable after many miles of hiking and is miles from civilization. Despite being in the mountains north of Los Angeles, I experienced no other hikers, other than a deer hunter that was hanging out at the trailhead. This became my personal trail for the day, which would likely be the case for most any other hiker in the future. Condor Peak is one of the last holdouts when it comes to local peaks that I had yet to visit. That gets crossed off the list once and for all with this great pre-Halloween ascent!
